Reno Calculators started from a simple frustration: the math you need before a home project is straightforward, but it is spread across product labels, forum posts, and half-remembered rules of thumb. We pulled the most common calculations into one place and made them fast.
What we believe
- Show the working. Every result lists the numbers behind it, so you can sanity-check the estimate against your own measurements.
- Respect your privacy. The calculators run entirely in your browser. Your measurements are never sent to a server.
- Stay fast. The site is plain HTML and a few kilobytes of JavaScript, so it loads quickly even on a phone at the hardware store.
How accurate are the estimates?
Each calculator uses widely accepted coverage rates and allowances — for example, about 350 square feet per gallon of paint, or a 10–15% waste factor for flooring. Real products vary, so we let you override the defaults with the figures printed on your own materials. Treat every result as a well-informed starting point, and always confirm quantities with your supplier before buying.
